What these pages are, and aren't
underpinning Everything written here is general information about underpinning, not a survey, report or advice tailored to your property, and it's no substitute for a proper inspection.
What happens when you send an enquiry
Filling in the enquiry form costs nothing and doesn't create any contract between you and us. Your enquiry, with the details you gave, is passed to one specialist firm covering the area you told us about, so that they can contact you about it. They use it only to answer your enquiry and to arrange any visit or work you agree with them, and from that point they are responsible for how they handle it. We do not pass your details to anyone else for their own use. Whatever follows, an inspection, a quotation, or the work itself, is agreed directly between you and the specialist, on their own terms. The specialist may pay us when we pass the enquiry on. You pay us nothing, and you are free to get quotes from anyone else. You're welcome to get quotes from other firms as well.
The specialist's responsibility
Once a specialist takes on your enquiry, they're responsible for their own inspection, advice, quotation, work and any guarantee attached to it. If a problem arises with the work, raise it with them first, though we'd still like to know.
No promise about this site's content

The limit of our liability
Our liability to you is limited as far as the law allows. That limit doesn't apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, to fraud, or to anything else the law won't let us exclude. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
